Turbo Build

ok...i guess i might be the only one with a balt ss/tc. but has anyone heard anything about turbo upgrades? any problems switching from a bypass valve to the BOV? any turbo kits?? any tuning software? did a little research but got tired of trying to sift through all the other bs.

Asteroids Champion! Space Invaders Champion! Arnys Battle 2 Champion! Critical Impact 2 Champion!
HPTuners supports the SS/TC. The PPC? tuner Hahn is using works well too. HPT is your best bet though.

The SS/TC comes with a WBO2 sensor from the factory, so that saves you some money. Your car is tuned to use a bypass valve, which recirculates the vented boost pressure and keeps it in the system. A BOV in its place will mess with your car.

As far as actual compressor upgrades. Your current turbo can bring you to roughly 300 whp and similar torque. How much more do you want. The car can already do a low 13, I would bet.

Hahn does offer an intercooler upgrade for the SS/TC a well as hard charge pipes, not dumb flexible ones.

I am by no means an expert, but I read a lot. haha

I'd find out if there are any manufacturers of DI type fuel injectors that are larger or if any manufacturers would do it custom.

Granted, I sure don't know as much about direct injection systems like regular fuel injection systems go. I do know that the fuel injectors are very important and the fuel pressure for DI systems are much higher than your norm.

See and I have no experience what so ever with DI fuel. Time to do some research.
