Interest thread for RIPP mods turbo kit ss/sc

Well I was down at RIPP again today and was discussing with ross and Phil on doing a turbo swap and have them build the kit and hopefully offer it to the public. Since they will be doing my head work and probably my motor build, I figured to start talking about a turbo swap. They seemed very interested in doing this, but wanted me to go out and gain some interest in it. Now a shop like RIPP is a huge step for these cars since some of the fastest street cars out here are built by RIPP... check out www.rippmods.com for any info you need and to check out some of their projects...

Well lets keep this one going.. questions, and comments will be attended to...

True.

We'll see what people decide to do.

1) What are their power goals?
2) What style/size turbo?
3) Will there be stages?
4) Optional intercooled?
5) Hopefully it will allow for the SC to be RIPPed (<-- LOL Corny humor ) off completely? If so, will they supply the correct belt size?
6) What kind of manifold (log/tubular)? Coated or uncoated?
7) Will the kit be exclusive only to the Cobalt SS S/C? Or will it also be made for Cobalt/Ion/G5 2.2L, Cobalt SS/G5 GT 2.4L, and Ion Redline (I know same car, but there may still be fitment issues)?
8) What fuel solutions are needed for the SS S/C or will its stock computer be able to handle fuel/ignition/etc. just like it does with the stock SC?

]1) What are their power goals? 350whp and up
2) What style/size turbo? size not ready yet, but will be turbonetics
3) Will there be stages? probably, still on paper stage so far
4) Optional intercooled? yes, low boost setup utilizes stock air/water, upgrade to front mount will be optional
5) Hopefully it will allow for the SC to be RIPPed (<-- LOL Corny humor ) off completely? If so, will they supply the correct belt size? s/c removed completly, will require belt, alternator, and tension from 2.2
6) What kind of manifold (log/tubular)? SS tubular. Coated or uncoated? optional
7) Will the kit be exclusive only to the Cobalt SS S/C? SS/SC only for now, but we will work on something for the 2.4 ss Or will it also be made for Cobalt/Ion/G5 2.2L, Cobalt SS/G5 GT 2.4L, and Ion Redline (I know same car, but there may still be fitment issues)?
8) What fuel solutions are needed for the SS S/C or will its stock computer be able to handle fuel/ignition/etc. just like it does with the stock SC?
Return line and upgraded fuel pump for higher HP kits

-What kind of price range will this be in?

-Will this be more of a bolt-on install, or will they have to do all the work?

-Reliability and daily usage going to be a problem?

-What kind of price range will this be in? probably @$4000 like any other turbo kit (cheaper for base kit and such)

-Will this be more of a bolt-on install, or will they have to do all the work? We are leaning towards complete bolt on kit, possibly including exhaust too, but probably just a d.p. to bolt up to use the stock catback location

-Reliability and daily usage going to be a problem? I don't see why, less heat generated by the t/c optional boost controller to run low boost on the street, even can keep your cat and emissions equipment, will use all the stock sensors to utilize the stock computer without the need for a standalone.
