I sent Maven a text a while ago asking, so this is to light a fire under his arse/ if anyone else has info.
I'm looking for the following specs on the L61, LSJ, and LE5 ecotec engines.
deck height:
rod length:
piston compression height:
piston pin diameter:
and thats pretty much it.
I've been collecting data for a while, and the picture of the L61 and LSJ I'm getting doesn't make much sense.
I have some measurements oif the L61 I've taken by hand, but I'm dying to know the LSJ and LE5 measurements as well. I can't seem to find specifications of this nature in any GM literature available to me.
I've also seen conflicting information from GM and aftermarket companies for the pin diameter on the LSJ. I've seen it listed as 23mm from GM, and as 21mm from aftermarket companies (I'm pretty sure it is, in fact, 23mm).. i'm also pretty sure I saw it listed as .866in (about 22mm) so I want to know the real dimension.
