its a 2.4 Intake manifold swap for the 2.2 ecotec...i was wondering though has anyone done this for an 03-05 cavalier instead of the delta bodies?

I can't think of anybody, but it'll work I think.
Not sure but I'm pretty positive it'll work I'm thinking about installing and running my turbo set-up through it but its still up in the air.
Fitting onto your head, yes.
As far as throttle body, remember, this is coming from a vehicle with a electronic throttle body. Yours is mechanical. If I remember correctly, even the bolt pattern on the throttle body are different from the deltas to the jbodies.
So I'd look more so into that aspect before spending your money.

someone have a shot of the bolt pattern? I could tell you easy
the only thing we noticed on the 03-04 deltas was that we had to notch the adapter plate so the IAC would be able to function. on the 05+ with throttle-by-wire they didn't need that provision since the plate and motor control everything right there as far as idle speed manipulation.
other than that, one bolt needs to be ground down slightly I think. ac66bronco just did this and documented most if not all of it, I'll see if I can get him to post up about it if you want, might help out a bit.
PJ's done it. IIRC, they sell an adapter kit for the cable-driven TB's. the only issue is that you have to drill a hole for the IAC.

SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!
no idle issues at all
as suspected you need to cut a slit for the iac to read. but yes there is more
you have to also grind down a bolt head to clear the iac sensor and also grind into the side of your tb as well
but thats it
idles nice at ~700 rpm
just dont forget to use a lil rtv on the gasket they give you BOTH SIDESops:
Portion of the tb that must be ground
why it needs to be ground
screw head that needs to be ground down ~1/4 inch
slot that needs to be cut (NOTE THIS IS JUST A ROUGH IDEA NOT EXACT I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE RIPPING APART THE CAR AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
cheers
