    back into an ecotec

I had an 03 Cavalier back in the day, but had to get rid of it. So now I have a 07 Cobalt SS/SC. It needs some work and want to change some things but I'm glad I got it.

I already replaced the radiator. I wished I would have got the all aluminum one but couldn't at the moment. So I got the stock replacement

Hello! Nice to see another Cobalt SS/SC owner on this forum. What are you looking to change?

Personally, I'd recommend starting off with just about every part that Powell Race Shop makes. But that's just me.

    Good luck, and enjoy, man!

Well me personally I hate that style muffler. Not sure if I want to go back to stock for now or what. I know it has a header and an intake, might have the whole catback exhaust. That car looks like it been in accident so I'm going to replace some front end parts also. I should have took a pic when I had the front bumper off. Hopefully I'll get this job I applied for because it pays better and everything will go quicker.

Is that why it looks so clean?

Personally, I'd suggest Powell Race Shop/Crate Engine Depot for all the suspension and chassis improvements, and ZZP for all the power enhancements.

    Again, just my opinion...

Was there a repaint on the front end? Hard to tell in the dark photos, but it just looks like nothing has happened to it.

If you look closer you can tell the alignment of the bumper and the headlights are off. Also with the front bumper off you can see the damage more clearly. Like the front impact bar needs to be replaced for example.

Welcome back to the forum. Is that a really dark shade of red or are those just dark pictures? Almost looks like the Pontiac red.

Just hanging it out there, I have a RAZZI front lip for a Cobalt for sale, thread is around here somewhere.....

I'm guessing the color is Sport Red.

I can see it only on the passenger side where the bumper meets the fender.
