how were you having truobles with the reflash?
i had it on my turbo car with a aluminum intake mani and ls1 tb. never had any issues with it.
maybe it dosnt like the amount of heat produced from s/c rather then turbo?

Is there a difference as far as durability or performance or did you just want spares?

    They are supposedly stronger.

How were you not? During HPTuning we accidentally hit ~9:1 AFRs. That bucking, back firing, no power feeling we got was the same thing i would randomly get with the crapflash. But there were 2 differences. 1. It was 100 times worse. 2. Pulling over, shutting the car off, and restarting it would "fix" it.

Not much has happened to the car since the last update.

-Ryan spent alittle more time with HPT on it and we got the redline back up to 7000rpms with a ~85% duty cycle.
-I flogged the hell out of it at a small airport
-I finally stopped buying mods for a few months and paid the damn thing off a year early
-And i sold the tinted 2002 tails/trunk swap the other day

I've been looking for a 03+ LSS front bumper all summer and am just about to give up. Im not sure if i'll get to the LE61 this winter, but i should be able to get the exterior and suspension overhauled seeing as i already have most of the parts. That all will be for 2012. The only thing i wanna do with it this year is get Ryan back in the passenger seat tuning and break 240whp on any dyno.

I've had an eye out for one of those front ends as well since mine is effed up, and they are tough to come by. Either that or I'm just not looking in the right places. One option is to get a non-LS front end, and toss one of those "lip kits" on it, but it just doesn't look the same.

Found that at my local Chevy dealer. It was sitting in the warehouse since October. FML. I almost didnt stop in. It was seriously just a whim. The only downside was that it was $400+ after taxes, but i dont care. I finally have one.

    Very nice find.

Sort of random, but weren't you the one who had the P# for the hardware needed to install the ZZP LSJ IM spacer on the L61 head?

Thanks anyhow; not sure who I'm thinking of then.

Good luck with the dyno run(s). I want to run mine, but am afraid to blow it up.

Im bored so here is the "Winter To Do List"

    Overhaul Exterior
    • Install LSS Rear bumper
    • Install LSS Front bumper
    • Install LSS Side skirts
    • Install Toyo fenders
    • Install New headlights/fog lights
    • Install Carbon fiber OEM hood, LSS spoiler, B pillars
    • Install 5Zigen wheels w/ Hankook tires

    Install Power Adders
    • Racetronix W-body fuel pump
    • Water/Meth injection
    • Finish air intake
    • LD9/LN2 ECU/harness swap

    Front Suspension
    • Sandblast/powdercoat subframe
    • Clean/install aluminum control arms & poly bushings
    • Install Baer brakes/swap wheel studs
    • Transfer Addco sway bar
    • Install TTR “k” brace

    Rear Suspension
    • Sandblast/powdercoat trailing arm
    • Install Derlin bushings
    • Install Baer brakes/camber shims/swap wheel studs
    • Transfer Progress sway bar

    Misc.
    • Relocate battery to under right headlight
    • Fabricate H/E overflow tank
    • New exhaust

I also got the car back on a dyno(same dyno as in the spring) and made 230whp. I wanted 240whp. Oh well. Ryan and i have a few ideas. I'll get the "power mods" on, retune, and redyno. If i dont hit 240-250whp, the Harrop is going on and a rod is exiting the block.

I am very curious to see how the stock L61 would handle a TVS. I have been afraid of trying it though because I'm afraid that even with a 3.4" pulley it wouldn't survive.

What WOT AFR and timing are you able to give it now without methanol?

I think a stock L61 would handle the largest pulley with a conservative tune.

As for that question, Ryan would have to check the HPT logs.

Maybe Oldskool will see this and answer the questions i cant if it bump this.....

Front/Rear bumpers, mirrors, hood, fenders, and trunk lid are gone.

Front/Rear bumpers, side skirts, and fenders are back.

Im also thinking about not even messing around with the M62 next year. I also have the C/F hood now, but when it came down to it when i ordered it i ordered a EVO instead of OEM.
