    2.2 in my s10

well i picked up a doner car on friday for my truck. its an 04 cavalier with 44,000 on it. so far the harness is labeled and pulled along with the cluster and ignition. i plan to drop out the fuel tank and smog equipment to day. if every thing go's as planed it will be in and running in aboute a month. ill still need a trans and driveline along with all the lighting and some sheet metal for the truck befor im driving it but this is a start. Heres some picks of the car and some older picks of the truck.

i hope you all injoy ill post my progress

Are you putting in an adapter plate and using the L61 as a RWD engine? If so, I love this project. Take plenty of notes and pics cause I might be tempted to do this swap too. There are plenty of S10s around just waiting for an Ecotec

Sweet. I saw a S-15 this weekend that was dying for an Eco swap.

well the motor is out and i lifted it in the truck to see what its lookin like and iv got some clearence problems, first do any of you have a pic of an l61 with the oil pan off? its my biggest problem. second do thay make a kit to move the powersteering pump? its not to bad but it would help if it wasent on the back of the motor. it WILL fit no mater what, it just might take longer now
